Comet Falls is wonderous hike at Mt Rainier

 

Comet Falls is a beautiful and popular waterfall located within Mount Rainier National Park. The hike to the falls is relatively easy and offers stunning views of the mountain and surrounding wilderness. The falls themselves are breathtaking, with water cascading down a steep cliff into a picturesque pool below. The trail is well-maintained and easy to follow, making it a great option for families and visitors of all ages. Overall, Comet Falls is a must-see attraction within the park and is a great way to experience the natural beauty of Mount Rainier.

The elevation gain for the hike to Comet Falls is around 1,400 feet. The trailhead is located at an elevation of around 3,600 feet and the falls themselves are at around 5,000 feet. The hike is considered to be moderate in difficulty and takes about 2-3 hours to complete. It's worth noting that the trail can be steep in some sections, so hikers should be prepared for some uphill climbing.

The Comet Falls trailhead is located inside Mount Rainier National Park. If you're coming from the Nisqually entrance, it's about 10.7 miles or 20 minutes from the trailhead. You should also note that some of the roads leading to the trailhead may be closed due to snow or other conditions, depending on the time of year, so it's best to check the park's website for the most current information before planning your visit.

La Conner Is A Small Town Must See Gem.

 La Conner is a small town located in the Skagit Valley region of Washington state. Known for its picturesque setting on the Swinomish Channel, La Conner is a popular destination for tourists looking to experience the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Visitors can explore the town's charming main street, which is lined with shops and restaurants, or take a stroll along the waterfront to take in the stunning views of the surrounding mountains and waterways. The town also hosts a number of annual events, such as the La Conner Tulip Festival, which draws thousands of visitors each year. Overall, La Conner is a charming and picturesque destination that offers a unique blend of small-town charm and natural beauty.

  • Edsion(Bow) is a small unincorporated community located in Skagit County, Washington state, United States. It is located near the intersection of State Route 538 and State Route 9. The area is mostly rural and known for its agriculture and farming, specifically for growing tulips, daffodils and other flowers, it is also home to a number of berry farms and nurseries. There are a few small businesses and amenities in the area, such as gas stations, convenience stores, and a post office. It is also located near the Mount Vernon, Anacortes and La Conner which are known for their scenic views and recreational activities such as fishing, hiking, and bird-watching.
